Second-largest city in Croatia, located at the foot of the Marjan hill - today a Nature Park with all sorts of recreational contents such as jogging track, bicycle path and tennis courts.

The 1700 years old city of Split grew out of the palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian. Today it is the best preserved late Antique palace in the world. Split is important Croatian, Mediterranean and cultural center, one of the biggest passenger ports on the Adriatic sea and the city is connected with ferry and fast catamaran lines with all middle Dalmatian islands (Brač, Šolta, Hvar, Kročula, Vis, Lastovo...).

Split is located within the area of the Mediterranean climate, which gives Split mild winter and plenty of sunny days.
